Elisa Vázquez Doval is a Galician pianist, born in Mugardos, specializing in contemporary music repertoire. She trained at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid with Manuel Carra and extended her studies in Barcelona and the Netherlands —at the Rotterdam and Utrecht conservatories— where she completed a master's degree in performance with Klára Würtz.
She dedicates a significant part of her work to researching and rescuing rare scores. She champions composers such as John Cage, Morton Feldman, Toru Takemitsu, Galina Ustvolskaya, Younghi Pagh-Paan, Luigi Nono, and Beat Furrer, alongside works by current creators.
She has performed in halls, festivals and cycles across Spain and Europe, from the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to the MUNCYT in A Coruña within the RESIS Festival.
